The PRAYER of INTERCESSION 40 ~2~ FOREWORD So many people become awe struck whenever the subject of prayer is being discussed, they look down on themselves and secretly wish they can have their prayers answered just like the other few folks they know who have managed to get that somewhat “elusive favor” of God on their side, and who were getting their prayers answered. But that is not what prayer is supposed to be. Every single believer is entitled to have his or her every prayer answered! “Ask and it shall be given to you… For EVERY ONE who asks receives…” – Matthew 7:7 Finally, a book that lets you explore the depths of ‘Prayer’ in its simplicity. You can have your prayers answered and enjoy fullness of joy! ~3~ INTRODUCTION “If your faith can say ‘YES’ God will not say ‘NO’” – Archbishop Benson Idahosa “Time spent in prayer is never wasted” – Francois Fenelon “The greatest tragedy of life is not unanswered prayer, but unoffered prayer” – F.B. Meyer ”Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” – Philippians 4:6 ~4~ CHAPTER ONE FAITH – The Starting Point Faith Is The Starting Point! A successful prayer-life begins with faith in God! There is no going around or avoiding this, and there will be no need going any further if I don’t believe in God or believe in His ability to reward/answer my requests or prayers. Even The Lord's Prayer starts with “Our father who hath in heaven…” Acknowledging an invisible heavenly father whom you can’t see physically. Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” ~5~ (GW) “No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” What then is Faith? Hebrews 11:1 (ASV) Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen. (KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The words assurance, conviction, substance & evidence, all stand out in the scriptural definition of faith. And this assurance and conviction are for things that the natural eyes cannot see. In other words, faith is not limited or dependent on the natural senses. It’s evidence and assurance are based on God’s words and promises alone. ~6~ A Real Life Story It was a normal day, during the Fall season, quite uneventful until something happened. My dad (Engr Ayodele Ogundipe, of blessed memory now) was clearing the overgrown bush in the undeveloped plot next to our compound. The growth was wild and extending into our compound and to other neighbors. My dad gathered all the dried extending twigs and bushes he had cleared and laid them down a safe distance away from the dry bush. He proceeded to set the pile on fire, everything was going well until a sudden gust of wind came and blew the fire and some burning embers landed on the standing bush. All my life I had never seen my dad panicked before, but that day I think I saw a little bit of an alarm on his face. He tried to manage the situation, but the fire had ~7~ already caught on, been fueled by the dry bush. At that moment dad called out to me, I rushed out from the house to see the burning bush already blazing, crackling and the fire was barreling towards the roof of the house on the plot directly behind this burning bush. I remembered the moment dad dropped his hands calmly in realization that our effort was not a match for the blazing inferno, because by then the fire had already engulfed the whole length of the bush and was rapidly advancing down the width. If nothing was done, that fire will light up the roof of the house behind it and burn it down. Right at that moment, I stood on a heap of construction sand at a vantage point, and facing the fire, I lifted up my hand and pointed at the fire. I prayed in faith and commanded the fire to ~8~ stop in the name of Jesus. To the glory of God, the raging fire instantly obeyed my words and it died down suddenly in a straight line! From one end to the other! There are many situations in life that you only have a split-second to make a decision, if there is any time you need God to be there for you, then such critical time like that qualify as one! How Does Faith Come (How do you get faith)? You get faith by repeatedly listening to words spoken by God, reading the word of God, meditating and thinking about the words and promises of God, exposing yourself to avenues where you can hear the word of God preached, declaring and speaking the words of God over yourself. The scriptures specified in Romans 10:17 (KJV) “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. ~9~ The Importance of Faith in Prayer The place of faith in prayer is undeniable. Faith is what moves or attract God towards a person a nation or a situation. Faith is the natural language of prayer. A morning prayer done in faith can set the tone for blessings for the rest of the day! A prayer for healing offered in faith will bring healing and health to the sick, a prayer for business, prayed in faith will make that business to prosper. In The Lord's prayer, Jesus Christ encouraged us to pray to the heavenly father (it takes faith to do that). Praying wives, praying mothers, and praying fathers can all testify to this. They know what it means to stand in faith in the place of prayer until they see their desired results. Develop the mentality of one who has access to God, by faith, and who cannot be defeated! ~ 10 ~ Mark 11:24 (KJV) “Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.” When you pray, the recommendation of Jesus Christ as stated in the above scripture verse is to believe that you have already receive the answer even before you physically see it. That is FAITH! The Mustard Seed Faith All you need is a faith the size of a mustard seed! Contrary to popular opinions, you don’t have to have a gigantic faith to move the mountain, instead, Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 “…if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” In essence, the mustard seed size faith that you have now will work for you! Start getting ~ 11 ~ your prayers answered while you are growing in faith. YOUR FAITH WILL WORK FOR YOU NOW! Stop losing hope in the bible and in the church of God! Exposure to life inspiring books on faith, and consistently growing in faith & in the knowledge of Christ, you will become a valuable woman of faith! or a man of faith! ready to be used by God in the service of God’s kingdom. Say This Boldly To Yourself Over And Over Again: Through Christ, My Faith Works For Me! Through Christ, My Faith Works For Me! Through Christ, My Faith Works For Me! Through Christ, My Faith Works For Me! Through Christ, My Faith Works For Me! Through Christ, My Faith Works For Me! Now start using your faith to get prayer results! ~ 12 ~ Prayer Exercise - Day One! 1. Identify a need or problem in your life. 2. Find two or three promises in the Bible that assures you victory over the situation and meditate upon them for at least 15 minutes. For example, if you’re scared and tormented with the thoughts of death, (Psalm 91:16) “With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation” and (Psalm 118:17) “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.” are two powerful scriptures for you. 3. Speak to that situation and command it to do your bidding in the name of Jesus! 4. Give THANKS to God for the answer right then, and continue to give thanks daily until the physical manifestation, to pray again is entertaining doubt. Rather give thanks and don’t waver in faith! CHAPTER TWO The Power of GRATITUDE A Real Life Story I had just boarded the plane at O. R. Tambo International Airport, it was a Virgin Atlantic flight departing South Africa to Nigeria. It was my return flight back to Nigeria after about 2 weeks of mission visit to the southmost country on the African Continent. After settling down in my assigned seat and waiting for the boarding to complete and the eventual take off, I got a call from one of the Pastors in Pretoria South Africa, for whom I had preached on a weekday Bible Study in his church. Earlier on, on the day I would minister at this Pastor’s church, I had spent the whole morning and afternoon in worship and prayer unto the Father, waiting on Him and giving ~ 14 ~ thanks to Him for all things. I also prayed for the Bible Study meeting I was about to go to and minister. I was really expecting a big meeting. But when I got there in the evening, I only met about 4 people with the pastor inclusive. Naturally I felt bad, but I quickly switched to walking by the spirit, I ministered and taught the word of God like I was teaching a lecture hall filled with 1,000 students. After I finished and the pastor closed the meeting, he brought to me a lady, one of the other 3 persons around at the meeting. She was introduced to me as a Judge in her province in South Africa, I greeted her excitedly and asked if she was blessed by my message, she smiled and waved my question aside, (I felt a bit punctured) she said she was waiting to see me and wanted me to pray for one of her nephews, a teenager who was involved in ~ 15 ~ a terrible accident and had been in coma for many days. Even though I was deflated because she did not tell me she was blessed by my ministration, I took her hands and prayed a very simple prayer for the restoration of life back to the body of the young boy. I didn’t feel any power or any anointing at all, if anything I felt deflated, but rather than be bitter or annoyed, I was grateful and thankful to God for the privilege and opportunity to be a blessing to any of His beloved children, I kept thanking God and expressing my gratitude. My flight was going to be the next day. So, it was that Virgin Atlantic flight that I just boarded when the pastor called me. He was so excited at the other end of the phone and joyful. He went to break the news to me that the boy who had been in coma for many days woke up that same night of the Bible Study, after I prayed with the Aunty who was a Judge. ~ 16 ~ On hearing this news, I again gave thanks to the heavenly father for His loving kindness towards all His children and for answering the prayer over the boy in coma and restoring back his life in less than 7hrs after the prayers. Thanksgiving Must Accompany Your Prayers The Bible states in Phil 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Thanksgiving is portrayed here as an integral tool of prayer, and not just a form of appreciation given to a benefactor when one has received gift or blessing from the benefactor. Rather, all your prayer requests are to be accompanied with thanksgiving even before you see or receive the answer to your petition. ~ 17 ~ Thanksgiving Is The Entry Protocol Into God’s Holy Presence & Throne Of Grace: The Bible states in Psalm 100:4 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Thanksgiving Is God’s Will For You. 1Thessalonica 5:18 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” God Expects To Be Thanked. Luke 17:17-18 “And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. ~ 18 ~ Prayer Exercise - Day Two! 1. Today is a great opportunity to begin to give quality thanks to God for the issue you prayed about in yesterday (DAYONE). Thank God for His faithfulness and for bringing His promises to pass in your life. 2. Give God thanks for these four major things stated in the scripture below: Psalm 103:2-5 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who 1forgave all your iniquities; who healed all thy diseases; Who 2redeemed your life from destruction; who 3crowned you with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who 4satisfied your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. CHAPTER THREE LOVE and FORGIVENESS Mar 11:25 (Darby Version) “And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have anything against any one, that your Father also who is in the heavens may forgive you your offences.” The world is full of hurting people. And, people who hurt, hurt others too. A heart of strife and bitterness will surely hinder your ability to pray and get results. The greatest expression of love is to forgive. You need to learn to receive the grace of God to always forgive. Trying to get even or retaliate will end up damaging your tender heart, you become the very thing you’re expressing hatred for just in the name of vengeance. Rather, learn to forgive. ~ 20 ~ The Way of Love - 1Corintians 13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. ~ 21 ~ Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Drop that hurt today, forgive and let it go! I know it may not be that easy, but you have so much more to lose by harboring bitterness. ~ 22 ~ Prayer Exercise - Day Three! 1. Confess and declare that the love of God is in you, that you have the love of God and that you walk in love towards God and towards others. 2. Declare that the fruit of the spirit is growing, developing, and maturing in you. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” are two powerful scriptures for you. 3. Ask God for the grace to love and forgive those who have hurt you. 4. Pray for those who have hurt you. CHAPTER FOUR ASKING and RECEIVING Mat 7:7 (Weymouth Version) "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For it is always he who asks that receives, he who seeks that finds, and he who knocks that has the door opened to him.” A Real Life Story I have shared this story on numerous occasions, here it is again presented to bless and encourage you: In 1996 I was invited to preach in a friend’s Church in the ancient city of Ogbomosho in Oyo state Nigeria. After my message some few folks – about seven people in number came out specifically to be filled with the Holy Ghost. ~ 24 ~ Immediately as I laid my hands on them, six of them received the Holy Spirit infilling with the evidence of speaking with other tongues, so wonderful was the experience that even two of them also prophesied. But there was a seventh person a certain lady who did not receive the Holy Spirit when I laid hands on them all and prayed. Sensing her desperation and utter disappointment, actually she was peeved with God, I asked her to wait and see me after the meeting. I wanted to help this young lady particularly when I noticed her frustration. So, we got together with her after the meeting. I explained in full detail to her the promise of the Holy Spirit and how she can receive him. I moved from one scripture to another showing her that God has already given the Holy Spirit, and what is ~ 25 ~ left is for each believer to RECEIVE Him by faith. I explained to her the concept of asking and receiving from God by faith alone, and not by our works, or efforts, or penitence. I gently assured her that the way to receive any of God’s provision and blessing is simply to ask by faith, and believe you have received there and then even before you feel or see the answer physically. I had three sessions of such detailed exposition on the subject of receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues with this young lady. And after each session I would pray with her to be filled with the Holy Spirit but there was no breakthrough at all. By this time the lady could not keep her frustration and disappointment bottled up any longer and openly began to sob bitterly, she was weeping profusely and started lamenting through her tears asking ~ 26 ~ God what else He was expecting from her, she lamented that she had fasted, prayed and tarried for the Holy Spirit for thirteen years, only to come and meet with another disappointment again. We had stayed a little over two hours after the main meeting had closed and dispersed. Her pastor too was there. You see, her understanding that she needs to do something in order for her to be qualified enough to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit from God was wrong, and it was what had hindered her for those thirteen long years of seeking to receive the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues. She was really mad at God and frustrated! But it was her wrong belief that kept her from receiving from God. I was not about to give up on her, I determined to stay with her until her understanding became ~ 27 ~ flooded with the light of heaven. After a while she “saw” it! Her understanding was illuminated. She suddenly saw that the Holy Spirit is God’s GIFT and she need not seek him through religious works and piety. When I saw the faith in her eyes, I asked her if she was ready to receive the Holy Spirit and she said a convincing yes. I had barely laid my hands on her when she threw both arms into the air and was gloriously filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues. Tears of joy filled her eyes as she prayed in tongues for the first time after seeking needlessly to be filled with the Holy Spirit for 13 long years. The fallen nature of man is what conditioned humanity to always want to deal with God on a transactional basis and not relationship terms. ~ 28 ~ Prayer Exercise - Day Four! Repeat Day One, not for you but others 1. Identify a need in the other person’s life. CHAPTER FIVE Different Kinds of PRAYERS Ephesians 6:18(ERV) “Pray in the Spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready. Never give up. Always pray for all of God's people.” Just like in sports, there are different kinds of sports and each has its own guiding rules, for example in the game of soccer the players cannot handle the ball with their hands but with their legs alone, except the goalkeeper, whereas in the game of basketball the players can only handle the ball with their hands and not their legs. The rule of one sport will not work for another. The same is true with prayers. ~ 29 ~ There Are Different Types/Kinds of Prayers: 1. Personal Prayer of Faith. These are petitions you make for yourself. This is when you make your requests known unto God. Phil 4:6 2. Prayer of Faith for others. Using your faith to pray for others. James 5:15 3. Prayer of Agreement. When two or more believers agree in prayers as touching a matter. Matt 18:19 4. Prayer of Intercession. When you stand in the gap for another until the manifestation of the answer comes. Please refer to Chapter Seven 5. Praying in Tongues. First it is communicating divine mysteries with God 1Cor 14:2, It is also a means of edifying or building yourself up in your faith! Jude 1:20 ~ 30 ~ Prayer Exercise - Day Five! 1. Get another believer to agree with you, if you are married or in a relationship, the other person can be your husband or your wife. Read Matt 18:19 together and get into agreement before the heavenly father as touching the matter you want to agree about. Declare it done by the authority of the word of God, and give thanks. 2. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with Tongues, pray for a minimum of 15 minutes at a stretch in Tongues. If you are yet to be filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with Tongues please go to Chapter Six of this book. CHAPTER SIX Praying in TONGUES “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful” 1Corinthians 14:14 There is such a thing as praying in an unknown tongue! Tongues is the biblical initial evidence of being baptized with the Holy Spirit. See Acts 2:4. A Real Life Story This happened many years ago at a Faith Seminar I conducted. I usually prepare myself ahead of anything by adequately praying in tongues. As a young evangelist back then I had a small team of protegees that I lead to organize Faith Seminars in homes & hotels. This particular Faith Seminar was held in a hotel. ~ 32 ~ The meeting was memorable in every sense as the very essence of my message was about to be tested. Flyers had been printed and the invitation distributed, PA system was rented, and the venue was secured on agreement with the manager that I will make payments on the day of the program. Bottom line we had bills even before the program started (my-oh-my!) with no ready resource to meet it... except for a promise made by one of the parents of one of my protegees! That was a bad idea! On that very day of the program while my team was preparing the venue I left the venue and went to meet this respected parent (a man of integrity) at his business office, he smiled and welcomed me and respectfully reneged on his earlier offer to foot the bills of our gospel campaign!!! You can imagine what went ~ 33 ~ through my mind, oh the shock! the disappointment! where will I get the money to pay all the outstanding bills? Well, I greeted, thanked him, and left, I had to stay calm as I would be ministering in a few hours’ time. I did all I could to keep focused and not distracted. A few questions flashed through my mind momentarily. Why this? Why did he change his mind? And why now? Why not a few days ago when the meeting could have been cancelled? Why Two hours to the start of the program when the venue was already set? (I learnt that day never to lay the burden of any kingdom project on the promise(s) made by men). I kept all this to myself, none of the team member knew we were in a serious jam! I didn’t tell them. Also, Although I was shocked and disappointed, I had no ill feelings at all, I love and respect this parent till date, I ~ 34 ~ believe it was a lesson I needed to learn early in ministry. Well, the program started, welcoming of guests, prayers, praise & worship, then came time for the word. I stood up and did what I knew to do, I preached the word of FAITH! behind me was one of the hand-made posters made by the team, with the inscription "CHRIST, THE ROCK THAT NEVER ROLLS" I ministered to the people, laid hands, and blessed the people. The program ended and the people left, the team was packing up, some were cleaning, then it happened! I had a shout from the ushering unit. A sister cried out and came to me excitedly. Somebody had dropped some foreign currency (British Pounds sterling) in the offering basket! This was 1995. The amount the person dropped was more than enough to take care of all the bills ~ 35 ~ when converted into Naira. That was my first time in ministry to ever see a foreign currency in an offering at our program. I did my utmost best to trace who could have done it, eventually I was able to locate the person, who said it was a special seed of faith to be able to fulfill the desire to travel to and live in the United Kingdom. Well, I'm happy to tell you that the person for many years now till today is living and alive and permanently resides in the United Kingdom with the family. I pray for you today that your disappointment and setback will turn around and become for you a divine setup for a glorious comeback! In the name of Jesus! You will not be put to shame! ~ 36 ~ Steps To Receiving The Holy Spirit With The Evidence Of Speaking In Tongues: 1. Be Born Again (If you’re already saved then you can receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit). Read Acts 2:38. 2. Know that The Holy Spirit has already been given by God, you don’t need to beg or wait anymore. All you need to do is receive Him. Read John 14:16-17, Acts 2:32,33. 3. Ask in faith, expecting to be filled to overflow and thank God that you have received the promise of the Spirit. You can pray by yourself, or you can be prayed for by another believer with or without the laying on of hands. Read Acts 8:18-20. 4. Move your lips and open your mouth in faith and cooperate with the sounds as they form ~ 37 ~ on your lips. Often times it starts with only one tongue syllable or word, then as you keep speaking in faith the flow begins to widen and more tongues vocabulary are added to you. Don’t be afraid or tongue tied. After the prayer of faith is offered, move your lips in faith, it often begins with a stammer or like a stutter. Read Acts 2:4, Isaiah 28:11. ~ 38 ~ Prayer Exercise - Day Six! 1. Start by presenting your prayers in understanding, fill your mind with the scriptures or promises of God that are pertinent to the prayer you are engaging in, then switch to praying in Tongues. Be sensitive as you pray in Tongues, because while you’re praying in Tongues, the Spirit of God can be transmitting the answer back to you through your spirit into your mind and understanding. 2. If you can, go ahead and pray in Tongues for 30 minutes 3. If you can, go ahead and pray in Tongues for 1 hour 4. If you can, go ahead and pray in Tongues for as long as you can. CHAPTER SEVEN Prayer of INTERCESSION Intercession is praying for and on behalf of other people. To intercede means to intervene on behalf of another. You don’t intercede for yourself. I explained this more in chapter four of this book which was focused on Different Kinds of Prayers. You may wish to review that chapter again before proceeding. 1Timothy 2:1-4 says “I urge, then afirst of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made bfor all people— cfor kings and all those in authority, dthat we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. eThis is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” ~ 40 ~ a) Intercession is a priority duty for every believer, the scripture urged us to do it “first of all” b) Intercession should always be made for “all people” c) Intercession should be made “for kings and all those in authority” d) Intercession enables us to “live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness” e) Intercession “is good and pleases God our Savior” This prayer of intercession formed a major part of Jesus’ ministry while on earth and it remains his eternal ministry even now that He is in heaven, seated at the right hand of God the Father. ~ 41 ~ Rom 8:34 “Who is he that condemns? It is Christ who has died, but rather has been also raised up; who is also at the right hand of God; who also intercedes for us.” So, the present-day ministry of Jesus now is as our heavenly Chief High Priest who is presently and constantly making intercession on our behalf to God. When you intercede, you are putting other people and their issues before your own, and you’re presenting these other people’s matter to God to intervene supernaturally. In other words, praying the prayer of intercession makes you to be selfless more and more, and to be compassionate and considerate of the needs and challenges of other people. The Bible clearly states that God is pleased with this. ~ 42 ~ Prayer Exercise - Day Seven! 1. Let the compassion of God feel your heart for lost souls, for leaders and those in authority, for the sick, the depressed, the broken, and the forsaken people all around you. Begin to give thanks on their behalf to God. 2. Pray for all those in authority that you have decided to include in your intercession. Ask God for wisdom for them, for protection, and for God’s will and plan to be established through them. 3. Pray for all others that you have identified, the sick and the depressed and all others. Ask the Lord for His divine intervention in their lives. Pray that the Help of God will meet them and set them free from every bondage. Pray for the restoration of hurting relationships. SALVATION PRAYER: If you do not know Jesus as your Savior and Lord, simply pray the following prayer in faith, and Jesus will be your Lord! Heavenly Father I come to You in the name of Jesus. Your Word says, “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” and “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Acts 2:21; Romans 10:9). You said my salvation would be the result of Your Holy Spirit giving me new birth by coming to live in me (John 3: 5-6, 15-16; Rom 8:9-11) and that if I should ask, You would fill me with Your Spirit and give me the ability to speak with other tongues (Luke 11:13; Acts 2:4) I take You at Your Word. I confess that Jesus is Lord. And I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. Thank You for coming into my heart, and for giving me Your Holy Spirit as You have promised, and for being Lord over my life. Amen. Welcome into the Royal family of God!
