Big Ben is a popular tourist name
for the clock tower of the Palace
of Westminster. The official name
of the tower since 2012 is
Elizabeth Tower, or Elizabeth
Tower, one of the most
recognizable symbols of Great
Britain, often used in souvenirs,
advertising, movies.
• Tower Bridge is a drawbridge
across the River Thames,
which is rightfully
considered one of the
majestic symbols of London.
It got its name because of
the nearby Tower of London.
• Buckingham Palace is a
palace that is the official
residence of the British
monarchs in London. It is
also famous for being the
largest active royal
palace. Now it is the
residence of Queen
Elizabeth II of England.
• The London Eye is a Ferris
wheel in London, located in the
Lambeth area on the south bank
of the Thames. The largest in
Europe and one of the largest in
the world. Opened in March
2000.
