CELEBRATION
HOLY SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST AND MATRIMONY
Introduction:
Good afternoon, Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
It is hard to fathom how God created the chain of events that happen to people’s lives. But once,
one gets to taste the fruits of God’s works, he cannot but exalt for joy as everything occurs for a
purpose for one’s own good and marriage is one of it. It is a blissful union of man and woman
under God’s plan, for God is the anchor of marriage.
For (groom) and (bride), they never did expect that their paths would meet. Indeed, God brought
them together and the one thing that calls us all here at this moment is the celebration of the
union of their love, in the holy Sacrament of Matrimony.
(Short Intro) It has been said that a joyful marriage is a bit of heaven on earth, but trials and
difficulties may come along the way. But as long as their love is anchored in the love of Jesus
then everything will appear, bearable and surmountable.
so, together with (groom) and (bride), let us humbly ask God to strengthen their faith and
deepen their love for each other so they would unceasingly serve him according to the vocation
that they have chosen. Let us take part in the joy of their bond as we pray to the lord for His
countless blessings for them and for the children. He will entrust them.
