GREEN BUILDING CONCEPT AS AN ESSENTIAL COMPONENT OF
SUSTAINABLE BUILT ENVIRONMENT IN GHANA.
The aim of this study is to access the viability of the concept of green building as an essential
component of sustainable built environment in Ghana. In simple terms the concept of green
building looks at ways of building an environmentally responsible built environment
(roads, houses, farms etc.).
Master Akrong Kamoah Isaac, a student of the department of architecture of the Kwame
Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is conducting this research purely on
academic basis; hence any information given would be handled confidentially.
