What significant learning insights did
you gain from the course?
There’s a lot of significant learnings I gained from this
course. One is that it gives emphasis on improving my skills as
a facilitator of learning that focuses on the effective delivery of
the subject matter. Before what I understand to be developed is
just the knowledge and skills. I just realized from my journey
that I already possess the other skills of the 21st Century, the
attitude and the values.
Equipping me with KSAVs is a big step to walk through
with my learners to achieve the expected demand for the 21 st
Century.
What challenges or difficulties did
you experience during the course?
To have this course is the break through I’ve been waiting
for. Since, this is a challenging experience for me as a teacher.
I find it interesting and challenging but worth doing.
Reading the modules in between of my daily task, attending to
my responsibility as a teacher, doing my obligations in my family
all at the same time is bit hard to manage for me. But the
additional tasks brought by this course like doing the
assignments especially in Module 2 is really challenging for me.
But what makes me stress is that in the peak of doing my
assignments, the higher ups will call you to have that SBM
Validation, since I am the School Coordinator. But I am proud to
say that because of this course, it pushed me forward to become
a better and suitable for the 21st Century teacher.
What areas related to 21st Century
teaching and learning do you still
need to improve on and why?
My ICT literacy and financial literary still need to improve.
The internet and digital technology skills are the things I still
need to develop. It will be more fulfilling if I become better in
these areas. I am computer literate but I still need those new
techno-savvy facilitating of learning so that I will be fitted in
today’s millennial generation.
What can you say about your overall
experience (i.e. comment on chat,
forum, course requirements, FLT
competency, and the online
modality)?
This course gave me a lot of significance as a teacher
because it helps me address my role as a teacher. In our chat
session, we share different and common things on terms of our
teaching-learning processes, exchanging of ideas in chat is
enjoyable, I can learn from others answers. Learning through
virtual process is an avenue for new experience. Even posting
and reading discussions in the Forum brings out opportunity for
me to explore and learn something new. In doing my
assignments and course requirements at first I found it difficult
but at the end, I am happy because I accomplished it in my own
effort. My salute to my FLT Dr. Precy for always reminding me
as how far I have done with my assignments. I appreciate her
effort in doing so.
Dr. Precy who displays so much knowledge on every topic
we undergo and concern to every learner. There is no wrong
answer for her. She allows us to express our own ideas without
prejudices. She is very kind and approachable woman.
Online modality will be best attained through the help
constant reading to have wide ideas. That’s how I view this
entire duration of the course.

To be part of SEAMEO Guro 21 class is a milestone in my
suggestions for improving the content teaching profession. It provides me an opportunity to grow
coverage and future course
professionally. I hope this online program will be sustainable for
deliveries?
the years to come so that other teachers across the region of the
Philippines will experience the same thing that I do.
I am thinking to continue enrolling in the Course II for
another learning experience for my professional development.
