Position HR Manager Department Business Operations Reporting to Business Operations Director Reportee(s) ● ● HR Senior Specialist HR Specialist/Generalist Responsibilities ● Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and operations Oversee recruitment and selection process of all positions Oversee performance appraisal system across the organization Oversee timely and precise processing of payroll ensuring changes are taken into consideration (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) Oversee workforce planning and monitor against budgeting in coordination with Department Directors Maintain organization structure (e.g. update in alignment to strategy or new positions created) Maintain HR policies and procedures and ensure proper implementation across organization Prepare HR monthly activity reports Report to senior management on HR matters and provide decision support through HR metrics Ensure legal compliance in employee matters Build a positive and productive culture Determine staffing levels/workload and lead recruitment accordingly Conduct/ oversee performance appraisal of team Communicate team job expectations and coach employees ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Qualifications & Experience ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in management Minimum seven (7) years of experience with advance knowledge in HR strategies and operations Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities Outstanding communication skills Excellent emotional intelligence Excellent decision-making skills Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to lead and develop department and department staff members ● ● ● Approved by: HR Manager Department Manager Department Director Knowledge of/experience with new labour laws CIPD qualifications is a plus Experience in farming industry is a plus
