HUMAN BODY SYSTEM
1. Integumentary system – it consists of skins, nails, hair and exocrine glands. The function
of this system is to protect the internal parts organs, tissues and cells of the human body
to the infectious organisms.
2. Muscular system - composed of specialized cells called muscle fibers. Its function is to
help the body moving, maintain posture, circulate bloods and etc.
3. Skeletal system – It supports the structure of the human body. It allows movement and
give shape to the body and also protection to the internal organs of the human for
example ribs it protects the lungs.
4. Endocrine system – It releases hormones into the bloodstream. It is also responsible for
the growth, development, control the mood of the human, fertility and sexual function.
5. Nervous system – It has specialized cells which called neurons which controls the cells to
send signals to other cells and organs of the body.
6. Lymphatic system – is part of immune system which protect the body from illnesscausing invaders, it maintains body fluid, absorbing digestive tract fats and removing
cellular waste.
7. Circulatory system – it carries oxygen, nutrients and hormones to the cells and removes
waste products like carbon dioxide.
8. Cardiovascular system – it has heart, blood vessels, and blood. It protects the body from
blood loss and helps to maintain constant body temperature. It maintains the blood flow
of the entire body and allow it to survive.
9. Reproductive system – the main function of reproductive system is to produce egg and
sperm cells. For female is to protect and nourish the offspring until birth and for male is
to produce and deposit sperm.
10. Urinary system - the function of this system is to filter bloods and create urine as its
waste, It helps also with bone by controlling calcium and phosphorus.
11. Respiratory system – it is responsible for breathing, it takes up the oxygen in
environment then releases carbon dioxide. When exhaling an oxygen, it delivers it from
the different organs and cells inside the body.
12. Digestive system – the main function of these are for digestion and absorption. It
breakdown the foods that we eat and turns into small molecules which then absorbed by
the other parts of the body.
