Looking at the CCP’s constitution, economic development is included in their strategic plan to make China an economic powerhouse. The theme discussed in this paper is how the Chinese Communist Party can make strides in developing the economy of China despite the decline of most of its initial ideologies. Going through the Chines Communist Party constitution, I am intrigued by the phrase economic development. The phrase is accompanied by the party’s vow to develop even the social aspect of Chinese culture, a promise that has been fulfilled, but not fully. Reasons for choosing the Social and economic development ideology is because the Party can do much more to fulfill their ideas. The inclusion of social and economic development in the Chinese Five-year plan is a single step in a million. The strict adherence to the party’s ideologies is a deterrence to economic development through trade. Conclusion Our ideologies on economic and social development are what keeps China unique from other nations. The opening up of China to other countries through trade and investments to as a way to spur economic development is advised since sticking to the ideologies, and political theories could be bad for investments. The USA is also known for its democratic values, some of which are disregarded to allow them to trade with other nations that are not democratic. Same case should apply to China.
