Introduction to ADS BASICS
1. For the series RLC elements measure the reflection
coefficients and VSWR from 100 to 1000 MHz in
100 MHz steps.
2. To Measure and display the insertion loss of one
inch and a three-inch length of WR112 waveguide
from 4 to 8 GHz
3. To use Line Calc in ADS to determine the length
and width of a microstrip line for the given
parameters.
4. To convert the lumped element capacitors and
inductors to distributed elements.
5. To Use the Smith Chart Utility to build a simple
matching network.
6. Design a microwave filter in ADS and introduction
of design tool
7. Design a Microstrip Patch Antenna at 2.4 Ghz in
ADS
