To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter to ask your help in obtaining tourist visa (B2) for Krilov Viktor. He is my dearest
stepfather as well as a godfather to my daughter of 6 years old. We are very close. While I traveled to
Russia on several occasions to see him and the rest of my immediate and extended family, he did not have
an opportunity to visit us in the United States.
Since my daughter is starting her first grade this August, the purpose of his travel is primarily to support
our family during this first few months of the school year. My husband and I are both working parents and
we would love for Viktor to spend this time with us as well as guide his goddaughter through a new phase
of her life.
Sofia is a very emotional child and although she gets very animated about new experiences, she also
becomes quite vulnerable and requires additional help that we, parents, sometimes are unable to provide
due to being at work full time.
Our family lives at [Address]. My stepdad’s stay will last for about 12-16 weeks during the moths of August
– November.
My husband and I are going to provide housing and financial support to Viktor during his stay with us.
I personally guarantee he is prompt to return to his own country after 12-16 weeks.
