2x sessions with 30 students. 30 minute sessions.
1. Sorting hat.
Full range indicator and 4 bottles labelled A to D. These contain tap water, 2x dil ethanoic
(red and yellow), sodium bicarb solution. Stickers for house names. Test tubes to put the
liquids in to (30?). Dropping pipettes.
2. Invisibility. Cooking oil. 15 glass beakers 250cm3. Microtubes x15.
3. Secret writing. Preprepared sheets with coded messages. Will need lemon juice.
4. Demo – 4x hydrogen balloons
5. Turning coins gold – attached sheet.
