Certification Rules

Exam Date: July 31, 2020 & Time: 8:00 am-12:30 pm CST

This exam has two parts: Part 1 measures your understanding of the concepts and Part 2 consists of a lab.
– The exam is multiple choice answers with only one correct answer per question.
– You will have up to 4 hours to complete the exam.
– Aids are permitted during the exam and limited to AspenTech training material and Help Menu within AspenTech
software.

Please ensure you do not use any mobile device during the exam. They will need to be silenced and put
away.
– Please avoid any conversations during the exam.
– Please feel free to step away to use the restroom, but always notify the instructor before you do so.

Webex and Cloudshare Instructions

Webex

Cloudshare
– You will receive a calendar invite with the WebEx
link. Please accept the meeting invite and open the
link 15 minutes prior to start time to communicate
with the exam proctor.
– A Cloudshare link will be emailed to you once your
confirmation reply is received. This link will include
instructions to access the virtual environment,
please save the email for use on your exam date*.
– Please ensure you have access to a video camera
for the WebEx session. The camera will need to be
on throughout the exam.
– While using the Cloudshare environment, please
save the files regularly. In case of connectivity
issues, it will allow help avoid having to redo steps.
– Please mute yourself as a courtesy to other
students and the proctor. If you wish to ask
questions, please use the chat feature on WebEx
and address it only to the proctor.
– Help files within the software and AspenTech
software may be used for the exam within the
Cloudshare environment
*Prior to the exam, please ensure your internet connection and computer are
compatible with the Cloudshare environment by running this compatibility test.
