air is vented to the outside. Required for
preparing HDs.

Personal protective equipment (PPE): specialized clothing or equipment worn by an
employee for protection against infectious or
toxic materials, such as garb and respirator
masks. Most PPE used in sterile
compounding is disposable. Some masks,
gowns and shoes can be reused after proper
cleaning.
Áp suất dương:không khí ra ngoài (ví dụ: ra
khỏi tủ hút/ phòng) để tránh ô nhiễm chế
phẩm vô trùng tổng hợp (CSPs) . Áp suất
dương được sử dụng để chuẩn bị chế phẩm
vô trùng tổng hơp không độc hại ( non_HD
CSPs ).
Positive pressure: the net airflow is flowing
outward (e.g., out of the hood/room) to
prevent contamination of the CSPS. Positive
pressure is used for preparing non-HD CSPS.
