Unity
As the name implies, unity is a group of elements coming together to work as
one team. In unity there there is: repetition in an element which is the use of an
element over and over. Simplicity which is the refining of making a design.
Harmony is the sameness of an element use in an artwork. Theme and variation is
also the ways using to show an element as one design. Proximity is when related
elements are placed together. Continuity is the flow of an element from one side of
your design to the other.
The image is unity because it is
harmony. The colours in the
image are related: green-red,
violet-yellow and orange-blue.
This is the repetition of some elements:
lines and shapes(square and rectangle)
Pattern
This also works like the repetition in unity. It is the repetition of elements of
design in an artwork. It is divided into two: motif and module.
This is pattern because, There are
vertical lines repeated to present an
artifact
This is the repetition of curly lines to
create an art work
