Probability: What is “Fair”?
You have all practised listing outcomes of a probability game or experiment.
Today, you are going to CREATE your own probability games.
1. Create two different spinners. One spinner is a ‘fair’ game. One
spinner is ‘unfair’ or ‘unequal’.
2. Once you have made your spinners, describe the rules of the game
you have created. How do you play? How do you win? Which one is
fair and which one isn’t?

3. Make a tree diagram on the back of this page to show the possible
outcomes for each of your spinners.
