Contract description
This service contract aims at strengthening the structure and role of civil society organisations
(CSOs) in the Turkish Cypriot community (TCc). The technical assistance should reinforce the
capacities of the CSOs, help promote an enabling environment for civil society in the TCc in line
with EU values and international standards, encourage a rights-based approach to development and
facilitate partnerships with both Greek Cypriot CSOs and EU CSOs and CSO networks.

Please be aware that after the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the EU, the rules of access to EU
procurement procedures of economic operators established in third countries will apply to candidates
or tenderers from the United Kingdom depending on the outcome of negotiations. In case such
access is not provided by legal provisions in force at the time of contract award, candidates or
tenderers from the United Kingdom could be rejected from the procurement procedure.
Remarks:
There must be a minimum period of 30 calendar days between the publication of this prior
information notice and the publication of the corresponding contract notice.
No applications or requests for information should be sent at this stage.
