Concrete Mix Design
What was done?
We were given a mix design and determined the proportions of the components of concrete required
in the mix. The component of concrete include water, cement and aggregates. We were also required
to mix a concrete with a slump of between 80-120mm .Then we applied our calculations in practical
at the lab. We designed a concrete mix design and tested for the consistency using the slump test of
our fresh concrete, our first mix was a failure. Each of the concrete in the cubs will be exposed to
certain condition and pressed on day 7.
