Incorporated galvanized steel messenger, composed by 7 steel wire threads with thickness of 1.6mm making a
messenger total diameter of 3/16?.
Self-supported cable for the aerial installation in just one step without lashing optimizing installation costs.
Allows configurations for vanes from 90 to 120m based on configuration.
High resistance loose tube produced with PBT (Polybutylene-tereftalato), guarantees protection to the fibers,
flexibility and rigidity to inappropriate curvatures.
Unique control method of the length variations and fiber excess ensuring the cable excellent mechanical and
environmental properties.
Unique extrusion technology that allows the fibers inside the loose tube great flexibility and flexion resistance.
Multiple waterproof protection methods as water blocking tapes and threads and gel in the fibers.

Description
WAVEOPTICS 8 Figure self-supported cable with totally dielectric core, ideal for aerial installation in just one step and
without lashing, saving time and money in a quick installation. In the cable core the high resistance loose tubes whith fiber
optics are braided. Therse are wrapped in a filling compound to avoid water penetration inside the easy-cleaning loose
tube. Located in the core center, the reinforcement central member and the braided tubes wrapped around the member in
S-Z for an easy access to the fibers, beein a compacted construction. High density polyethylene external coating, of high
resistance and durabillity, easy to remove. Steel incorporated messenger made by 7 wire threads of 1.6mm of thickness
offering an excellent resistance agains traction force and resistent to corrossion. At the same time, this cable provides
excellent transmission conditions along with its physycal performance.

The ends of the cable are attached so that they do not extend beyond the
reel and to prevent the cable to loosening during transport. Caps are
incorporated to ensure sealing.
