FOSPC-XXX-X-F8SJAD-3/16 Messenger MDPEExternal Coating Water blocking tape Reinforcement central member Support Binders Ripcord (2) Water blocking thread Loose tubes with gel Optical fiber unit Tecnichal Caracteristics - Incorporated galvanized steel messenger, composed by 7 steel wire threads with thickness of 1.6mm making a messenger total diameter of 3/16?. Self-supported cable for the aerial installation in just one step without lashing optimizing installation costs. Allows configurations for vanes from 90 to 120m based on configuration. High resistance loose tube produced with PBT (Polybutylene-tereftalato), guarantees protection to the fibers, flexibility and rigidity to inappropriate curvatures. Unique control method of the length variations and fiber excess ensuring the cable excellent mechanical and environmental properties. Unique extrusion technology that allows the fibers inside the loose tube great flexibility and flexion resistance. Multiple waterproof protection methods as water blocking tapes and threads and gel in the fibers. Generalities Scope This specification of its application serves to inform that all the design requirements and standard performance are covered in order to provide fiber optic cable in the industry. It also includes the scope of cable designed with optical, mechanical and geometrical characteristics determined for its application. www.waveoptics.net sales@waveoptics.net (3 3 ) 3 8 9 8 2 7 5 0 Juan Alvaréz # 40 Col. In the cable core the high resistance loose tubes whith fiber optics are braided. Therse are wrapped in a filling compound to avoid water penetration inside the easy-cleaning loose tube. Located in the core center, the reinforcement central member and the braided tubes wrapped around the member in S-Z for an easy access to the fibers, beein a compacted construction. High density polyethylene external coating, of high resistance and durabillity, easy to remove. Steel incorporated messenger made by 7 wire threads of 1.6mm of thickness offering an excellent resistance agains traction force and resistent to corrossion. At the same time, this cable provides excellent transmission conditions along with its physycal performance. Quality The WAVEOPTICS fibers and optical cables are manufactured and tested according to international norms: - IEC 60793-1 part 1:Generic specifications for fiber optic IEC 60793-2 part 2: Product specifications for fiber optic IEC 60794-1-2: Test procedure for fiber optic cables Telcordia GR-20: Generic requirements for fiber optic and cables. Each WAVEOPTICS cable meets the highest quality standards in the indistry. Each WAVEOPTICS cable coil contains a compliance certificate in which the performed tests in our quality laboratory are physically attached. Each cable has the TL9000, ISO9000, ISO14001 certifications. The quality control is reached through an intense quality revision inside of the company and the acceptance of the rigorous audit by the ISO9001 norm. Reliability The WAVEOPTCS cable goes through some rigorous initial and periodical tests of qualification of its performance and durability in order to ensure the reliability of the product. www.waveoptics.net sales@waveoptics.net (3 3 ) 3 8 9 8 2 7 5 0 Juan Alvaréz # 40 Col.
