Instruction
1. Cut cardboard the same size
as the scale on the right.
2. Cut out the scale. Tape it to
the cardboard.
3. Use a paper clip to attach a
thin rubber band at the top
of the scale.

4. Place masking tape on the
paper clip to hold the paper
clip in place. The end of the
rubber band should
line up with zero
on the scale.
5. Tie a 12-inch string
to the end of the
rubber band.
