1) Identify the moral issue:
Nestle used children labor in the Ivory coast to maintain the supply the of cocoa beans of
the Nestle. Since West Africa is very important for the production of Nestle, although there
are many voices and parties against their action. They still hired the children as production
labor.
2) Apply shareholder analysis of the moral issue - how should it be handled?
Since the shareholders do not want lose money during the case, if they still hire the
children, it will obviously influence the reputation and will let more people against Nestle
and lose more money. I think they should hired more legal labor and do some public benefit
activity to show Nestle are taking care about children to change the brand image.
3) Apply stakeholder analysis of the moral issue - how should it be handled?
The organization should cooperate together to help the children in Nestle.
