Please use the following email address when booking maintenance access: SCCSitevisits@tfl.gov.uk TRACK ACCESS CONTROL CENTRE STANDARDISATION AND STRUCTURE OF BOOKING REQUESTS As part of our plans to improve operational communications in LU, staff in the Track Access Control Centre are improving their operational communications protocols to ensure all staff stay safe while working on the track . The team is focusing on the importance of communicating information in a way which is accurate, brief, clear and professional. As a result, the Track Access Control Centre is changing how they communicate with those who call them. What has changed: All telephone calls for track access bookings will be managed by Track Access Controllers using a standardised and structured approach All safety critical and operational information must be repeated to ensure it has been understood by all parties. From Sunday 23rd December, the Track Access Controller will always ask all callers to repeat operational information. What is expected from staff requesting access: Compliance with London Underground’s rules and procedures relating to communications and booking on with the Track Access Controller, notably: When using any means of communicating, you must always make sure that the message has been received and understood.
