31 March 2012 SSgA Government Money Market Fund SSgA Government Money Market Fund represents units of ownership in the Government Short Term Investment Fund. The Fund seeks to offer safety of principal and a competitive yield by investing in securities issued by the U.S. government. Investment Objective The Fund seeks to provide safety of principal, daily liquidity and a competitive yield over the long term. The Fund is not a "money market fund" registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and is not subject to the various rules and limitations that apply to such funds.There can be no assurance that the Fund will maintain a stable net asset value. Investment Strategy The Fund invests in securities issued by the U.S. Government or its agencies or instrumentalities, and in repurchase agreements with respect to such securities.
