These lights are designed specifically for use in Division 1 hazardous locations where ignitable
concentrations of flammable gases, vapors or liquids can exist all of the time or some of the time
under normal operating conditions. If the bulb breaks, the circuit breaking mechanism instantly
disconnects the bulb from the power source.
Except for the 2208, all models have ASTM type II designation and meet the following UL, cUL and CSA approvals
when used with the appropriate bulb: Class I, Division 1, Groups C and D; Class II, Division 1, Group G; and Class III,
Division 1 (UL only).
Models 2117, 2217 & 2124 also meet UL and cUL approval Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C & D.
