Renusol has supplied mounting systems for photovoltaic
installations since it was founded in 1997 under the trade
name Econergy GmbH. As a pioneer in this fledgling industry, the company developed innovative solutions such as
the ConSole system for flat-roof and ground-mounted solar
installations, which over time have set new benchmarks in
the market.
Today, Renusol designs, produces and supplies modular
PV mounting solutions, which are particularly suitable for
overcoming complex, often roof-related mounting challenges. As a result, we guarantee both safe and efficient installation for our customers, and ensure that investment in

Enjoying an excellent reputation within the market, Renusol’s mounting clamps
ensure secure module mounting. The components that were previously available
with exterior clamping can now also be supplied with upgraded interior clamping, allowing them to be used in many additional systems.

The InterSole system is one of the oldest and most established BIPV systems
(building integrated photovoltaics) on the market. Its water tightness is ensured
thanks to the water-bearing system of InterSole plates, which are made of
durable plastic (HDPE). These are attached through the plates to the roof
substructure, anchors are secured on top, and the mounting brackets and rails
are then installed onto them. Introduced in 2003, the InterSole system is
popular throughout Europe with installers and end customers alike thanks
to its longstanding reliability and highly aesthetic appearance.

With many years of proven performance in the field, VarioSole is a universal
mounting system that allows solar installations to be mounted and secured
in a way that meets both buildings conservation and country-specific requirements, irrespective of the roofing type and substructure. The largely pre-assembled components are installed as a rail system that is mounted on the rafters
using special roof hooks. Usually, only a few tiles have to be removed during
this process, significantly reducing the installation work required compared to
full re-roofing.

The VarioSole system is characterised by its extremely high versatility. By virtue
of its special construction, it is compatible with most roofing types and roof
substructures available worldwide, might they be wood, metal or concrete. The
system can be used on the diverse roof coverings typical in Germany, Austria,
Switzerland, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Greece, Benelux, Denmark, the US
and other countries, and is compatible with the widest variety of materials and

The TriSole system is ideal for use on very large pitched and flat roofs where
installations comprising oversized PV modules are planned. The triangular
TriSole mounting frame combines great versatility with robust design and can
be installed on the roof using heavy duty panels, dowel screws or solar fasteners
depending on requirements.
System features:
• Suitable for almost all flat roof coverings, such as rolled roofing membranes,
bitumen, trapezoidal sheet metal, corrugated sheet metal, fibre cement,

The four-part FS 10 mounting base comprised a crest made of stainless steel, a
vertical support of aluminum, a stainless steel threaded rod and a cement base.
These extremely robust components are permanently weather-resistant. Two
crest variants are available for upsloping and downsloping module installation.
System features:
• Post-based mounting system offering high degree of installation flexibility
• Accommodates roof-mounted structures and roof pitch better than rail-based
systems, generally adapts better to specific roof conditions
• Rainwater can flow away unimpeded
• Equal, precise distribution of roof loads

ConSole + is a new and improved version of the ConSole system launched in
1998. Compared to the initial model, which has enjoyed many successful years
on the market, it features improved aerodynamics, reducing the weight needed
for ballasting.
System features:

When developing our mounting systems here at Renusol,

Association TÜV Rheinland, the Leipzig Institute for Materials Research and Testing (MFPA) and the German Center

Our professional courses provide practical training.
The training sessions take place either under real-life
installation conditions in the Renusol training centre
in Cologne or at the construction site itself. In particular,
our training sessions on site support customers when using
a Renusol system for the first time and help them to solve
project-related challenges that cause difficult mounting
conditions. Over one thousand participants have already
successfully taken part in Renusol training programmes.
