1. Which are the supportable standards under CDG-EQS IMS?




OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems*

*Note: Adoption of OHSAS 18001 within an IMS would be support only for first-time
adopters
2. How can companies qualify for support under CDG-EQS IMS?
a) Companies may choose to adopt two or three of the following standards:
• ISO 9001: 2015
• ISO 14001: 2015
• OHSAS 18001: 2007
Any combination of at least two of the above standards constitutes an Integrated
Management System (IMS) project. Companies adopting a single standard (new or
current versions) shall be supported under ICV. Companies interested in
implementing OHSAS 18001: 2007 may also consider the SS 506 certificate that is
accredited by SAC.
3. What are the deliverables for CDG-EQS IMS?
Companies shall submit certificates issued by internationally accredited or SAC
accredited certification bodies and a final report based on the template attached in
the Annex.
4. What are the supportable components for IMS?



Training Costs (Internal/ Lead auditor courses certified by the International
Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA), where applicable, for up to 2
employees per Standard)
Consultancy Costs (Cap applies)
Certification Costs
5. How do I apply for IMS?
Companies can apply for the IMS support under CDG – Enhancing Quality &
Standards via the SPRING’s Grant Portal.
6. If my company is currently certified to ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2004 and
OHSAS 18001, would my company qualify for support for IMS under CDGEQS?
Companies currently certified to the previous editions of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and
OHSAS 18001 are eligible to adopt an IMS project for transition to the revised
editions of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 only. Companies who are concurrently
certified to the current version of SS 506 or OHSAS 18001 would not be supported
under the IMS project.
7. If I would like to apply for only ONE of the standards supported under CDG-
EQS IMS, can I still apply for support under CDG?
For adoption of individual standards, companies may apply for support under ICV.
8. If I would like to apply for OHSAS 18001 to achieve bizSAFE level STAR who
should I approach?
For companies intending to adopt OHSAS 18001 for attainment of bizSAFE level
STAR only, they should approach Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC).
9. If I would like to apply for ISO 9001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001 (to achieve
bizSAFE level STAR) who should I approach?
For companies intending to adopt ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001 for attainment of
bizSAFE level STAR, they should approach SPRING for support under CDG-EQS
IMS.
10. Why is there a list of pre-qualified service providers under ICV but not CDG-
EQS IMS?
ICV was designed to help SMEs take their first step towards capability upgrading to
improve productivity and strengthen their core operations. SMEs applying for ICV
would typically be smaller in scale and may not have the resources to look for a
suitable consultant. SPRING and a panel of subject matter experts had therefore,
interviewed and pre-selected the service providers/ consultants. This list of prequalified ICV service providers/ consultants makes it easier for these smaller
companies to select their consultant.
Companies applying for support under CDG-EQS IMS are also encouraged to
select their consultants from the list as they have been assessed to have the
technical competencies to help companies achieve the revised standards ISO
9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

For final report, please attach product / process / service / applications specifications, brochures

Please describe other benefits to the company as a result of the project, e.g. quality

e.g. the additional investments to be carried out, further enhancements intended and any
changes to be made to your current operations.
