ABSTRACT:
IMS has been selected as the standard path to provide a new world of multimedia
services based on IP. To offer these services, operators will have to evolve their current
networks in a cost-efficiencient stepwise approach. The presentation will cover the
foreseen steps from a mobile perspective while also reviewing some of the benefits of
IMS for end-users.
