Quality Assurance Manager

The Opportunity
This isn’t your ordinary QA Manager role. ARGUS is a progressive software company with the goal to
develop new tools, technologies and platforms that will meet and drive market needs, and we take pride

looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who shares that same belief.
As QA Manager, you will be our gatekeeper and last line of defense to ensure that our solutions not only
exceed our customers’ expectations but also reach the market on time. Leading a distributed QA team,
you will work collaboratively with our QA Engineers, Product Development Teams, Product Owners, and
Product Managers to realize the new QA vision and increase our quality standards each and every day.
Bringing your passion for perfection, fit-for-purpose attitude, and a “get it right the first time” principle
to the job, you will own the transformation of our QA environment.
The Role

Build and bring to life the QA vision in collaboration with the QA team, Development Managers,
and the VP of Development. The vision will include implementing new automation, enhancing
our technical toolset, increasing the capabilities of our QA engineers, and deepening our
understanding of the product needs with data driven testing analysis.

Lead multiple projects designed to increase the effectiveness and accuracy of our QA practices.

Produce comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on the Performance and Quality of
the platforms under development.

Oversee day-to-day activities of the QA team and serve as the liaison with key stakeholders in
the development team including project management, product managers, development team
leads.

Manage and develop a distributed quality assurance team as professionals and members of the
ARGUS family using mentoring, motivating, coaching, training and other resources aimed at
increasing their capabilities.

Ensure our products are released on time with zero significant defects. Simply put, we are asking

Profile for Success

Highly technical with proven experience testing using multiple languages and operating systems
including, AWS, Windows, Microsoft SQL, ASP.Net, and many others.

Very experienced with a range of testing approaches including black/white/grey box testing,
regression testing, smoke test, performance based testing, scenario based testing, model-based
testing, and other testing methodologies.

Comfort and familiarity with testing tools such as Lab Manager, Ranorex, Cucumber, SOAtest,
Monkey Talk, and other leading automated testing applications.

Ability to self-manage tasks and deliverables, follow through on commitments, and complete
overlapping tasks and/or projects.

Innovative mindset, and will bring new approaches based on market research and leading
practices.
