Coaxial - Polyethylene sheath
Bamboo®
- example - not to scale -
Application
The coaxial cables are used in TV signal distribution networks and as antenna cable for terrestrial and satellite broadcast
systems. They are suitable for fixed installation but not for continuously moved applications.
Construction
Inner conductor
:
The inner conductor consists of a solid wire of commercially pure annealed copper
Dielectric
:
The discs and tube consists of polyethylene compound
Outer conductor
:
The outer conductor consists of a copper foil, applied longitudinally with an overlap
Outer sheath
:
The outer sheath consists of polyethylene compound (green)

Identification
The mechanical characteristics and the visual inspection shall be carried out with
a frequency of 1 out of 10 d rums, starting with the first drum. The first drum shall
always be checked when the quantity is less than 10 drums.
Test frequency
Certified test results are provided upon request.
If testing and inspection is required to be carried out by third parties,
such parties will be nominated and paid by the Purchaser.
