American Centrifuge Manufacturing, LLC (ACM) is a joint
company between BWXT Technical Services Group,
Inc. (BWXT) and USEC Inc. (USEC) which supports
The American CentrifugeTM technology, USEC’s highly
efficient uranium enrichment gas centrifuge technology.
Centrifuge technology is used in the process to produce
low enriched uranium, a key component in commercial
nuclear fuel.

ACM Manufacturing, LLC
ACM operates the American Centrifuge Manufacturing
Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, one of the most
modern, high precision manufacturing facilities in the
United States. Through this facility, ACM provides
precise machining manufacturing, assembly,
replacement parts, and maintenance and inspection
services for American Centrifuge technology. Centrifuge
components are shipped to the American Centrifuge
Plant, a uranium enrichment facility in Piketon, Ohio.
ACM is responsible for overall process integration,
which includes shipping and transportation, as well as
overseeing final assembly operations at the Piketon
plant. In addition to its operations at the two facilities,
ACM administers a consolidated approach for supply
chain management of the suppliers and subcontractors
supporting the development of the American
Centrifuge technology.
