TESTING AND SUBSEA
For many years, operators have expressed the industry’s need for multiphase flow meters, since flow measurement is at the core of all surface testing applications. Accurate metering of the well stream is a critical deliverable by which the success of a well test can be quantified.
Just as well testing has evolved, so has Halliburton. To offer a full range of benefits, Halliburton has expanded its testing capabilities to provide reliable products and services focused on the acquisition and analysis of dynamic reservoir information and reservoir optimization solutions.
Halliburton offers the ideal self-sufficient Multiphase Flow Meter and, which features the industry’s only non-radioactive technology that provides users with unsurpassed versatility, range, and accuracy with the capability of measuring flow rates and phase fractions covering the entire range. The technology can be deployed as a permanent installation or trailer-mounted solution combined with a bypass/choke manifold where verification of pure phase densities can be obtained.
All options provide a compact metering solution, which is simply integrated into all applications.
The system has two integrated meter sizes in a single skid, which provides a compact metering solution with an unequalled turndown ratio of 100 that surpasses all conventional MPFM technology in today’s market. The technology encompasses standard sensors that are easily configured to accommodate all Multiphase/Wetgas applications.
The pressure, pressure differentials, and temperature frequency signals are used in a high-frequency transient analysis – a multiphase mathematical solution that outputs accurate flow rates of oil, water, and gas instantaneously without offline calculations or adjustments.
This can be viewed at site or remotely utilizing Halliburton’s InSite
Anywhere®, which allows access to flow measurement data from anywhere in the world.
The MPFM has compact sensors that are easily configured in a variety of ways, the uniqueness of this completely self-sufficient unit resides in its ability to cover all flow regimes and range accurately. The MPFM functions with built-in redundancy and is combined in two parallel real-time measuring units with different bore sizes handling the industry’s lowest and highest applications, which enables extended flow rate coverage for operators with a single unit.
MPFM technology enables the user to control and optimize accuracy in real time, ensuring the reliability of data.
