A Diesel genset controller / power converter has been designed to work both as an isle generator or connected to the grid system.
RGM has realised for this application:
- a state-of-the-art load side inverter performing 3-phases or 3-phases + neutral output and a maximum imbalance
up to 100%;
- an energy buffer (lithium-based battery or supercapacitors based) pack DC/DC converter power manager;
- an high efficiency generator inverter and an integrated control which manages the diesel engine throttle and its load
continuously.
The result is a generation system which faces the load to a grid-equivalent energy source and can save more than the 20% of fuel compared with a traditional fixed rpm genset.
As the RGM power platform is a modular solution, there is a peculiar combination of modules for any applications, as shown in the tables.
