We are expanding internationally!
CWD is a Canadian company continuing to expand our business in the international market. The
company was established in 1961 in Niagara Falls, Canada and has become an innovator in the
consumer electronics world.
Our products are sold worldwide through various distribution channels, which include mass
merchants, direct response television, mail order catalogues, distributors, warehouse clubs and in
store and online retailers such as Walmart.
CWD has opportunities for highly motivated individuals looking for the opportunity to expand their
current international business skills and knowledge.
We are currently looking for a self-motivated, talented and goal oriented Global Sourcing Manager to
expand our operations into China.
Please note that this position is located in Shenzhen, China.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Meeting with potential manufacturers to assess capabilities of manufacturing key products and
work with these new partners to create and develop business relationships
Managing factory relationships and negotiating contracts
Evaluating manufacturers and products based on criteria outlined by CWD and reporting this
information to the Managing Directors
Communicating with our Niagara Falls, Canada office on a weekly basis to report successes,
ideas and areas of improvement
Sending samples overseas to our in-house product experts
Interacting with cross functional teams in the Canadian offices
Analyzing processes and business data to formulate clear strategies that drive improvement
The successful candidate requires:

A university degree or college diploma in Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of two to five years of management experience in a sourcing or logistic role
Prior experience sourcing consumer electronics or has been responsible for dealing with or
buying from at least 10-15 or more factories in addition to purchasing more than five million
worth of products within the last five years
Strong written and oral communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Ability to travel to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and North America
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, with proven
multitasking, and prioritizing abilities
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Detail orientated, accurate and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Internet
Strong negotiation skills
Experience with consumer electronics is an asset but not required
