How to Register for Training
We have created a Training Console to help you manage your Tenable training from the Tenable Support Portal. You will be
able to enroll in On Demand Training Course(s) or Certification exam(s) directly from the Training Console. You will need to
retrieve the On Demand Training or Certification Activation URL that you received with your purchase.
Create Your Training Console
Click on the provided URL to create your account. If the link does not work, please cut and paste the entire URL into your
browser.
Click on “Click Here to Start”.

Note: Tenable recently updated the training activation process to better provide support to students. After you activate the
training class/certification, you will need to enroll in the class/certification using the Training Console, which is available in
the Tenable Support Portal.
If you do not already have a Tenable Support Portal account (this is not the same as a Tenable Store account, which is for
purchasing only and not providing support services), click on “New Customer”.
Fill in the requested information with a valid corporate email address that will be used for the login to the Tenable Support
Portal. Note: Only Work Email Addresses are Accepted – No Free or ISP Email Addresses.

If you already have an account on the Tenable Support Portal, you still need to click on the URL to add the Training Console
with your existing account by selecting “Existing Customer”.
You will need to provide your Registered Email Address, Tenable Support Portal Password, and Customer ID, which can be
found at the upper left corner when logged in to the Tenable Support Portal, and then click on “Search” to view the registered
contact(s) list for your customer ID.
From the provided list, select the register contact that will participate in the class/certification, and then click on “Submit”.
Sign into your account on the Tenable Support Portal to access your Training Console, which can be directly accessed by
clicking “Tenable Support Portal to access the Training Console” or here: https://support.tenable.com/.

Enrolling a Student in On Demand Class or Certification Exam
Click on “Training Console” from the main page of your Tenable Support Portal.

Click on “Enroll in Course” next to the specific training part number.
Note: Click on “More Info” for course overview.
You will have the ability to choose Option 1: “Enroll Student Directly in Course” or Option 2: “Send Activation Link to Student
for Self-Enrollment”. Note: This is not restricted to work only email addresses.
Option 1: Enroll Student Directly in Course:
Enter student information (this can be for yourself or you can enroll someone else in your organization), and then select
“Enroll Student Directly in Course”.
Each new student will receive an enrollment confirmation and a second email that contains the username, temporary
password, and link to the eLearning Portal. Existing students will simply receive the enrollment email.

Directly enrolling in a course will move the course from Unused Courses to Activated Courses status.
Option 2: Send Activation Link to Student for Self-Enrollment (this will send a Student URL):
Enter student information, and then select “Send Activation Link to Student for Self Enrollment”.
The student will receive an email that contains the activation link that is the Student URL for the course. The student will
then have the ability to self-enroll for the course when ready. Please note this course must be registered within 6 months of
purchase and completed within 90 days of registration.

This process will move the course from Unused Courses to Pending Courses. Once the student enrolls in the course, it will be
moved to Activated Courses status.

Review the information and click on “Yes” if it is correct. Each new student will receive an email that contains the username,
temporary password, and link to the eLearning Portal. The Student will receive a second email confirming enrollment in the
course. If the student already has an eLearning account, they will simply receive the enrollment email.
If you already have an account on the Tenable Support Portal, click on “Existing Support Customer”.

“Existing Support Customers” will be provided a list of registered contacts from which you can select student(s) that will be
registered for the On Demand Training course or Certification Exam. Once the correct registered contact is selected, click on
the right directional arrow to add the contact to the course.
Review the information and click on “Yes” if it is correct. Each new student will receive an email that contains the username,
temporary password, and link to the eLearning Portal. The Student will receive a second email confirming enrollment in the
course. If the student already has an eLearning account, they will simply receive the enrollment email.
