Career Prospects Objectives Faculty The global world is characterised by steadily expanding world-wide networks, on the one hand, and a global shortage of IT experts, on the other. As a result, there is a growing demand for software engineers who can look forward to well-paid positions in industry. Thus, the job prospects for Master students in this field are highly promising. Job prosperity in software engineering not only depends on subject knowledge but also on project and change management experience. Moreover, intercultural and interpersonal competences are crucial for software engineers who seek to take appropriate management decisions and to act confidently and responsibly in a challenging business environment.
