The assembly free XJG with internal ground eliminates the field assembly
process. This advanced version of the XJG conduit expansion joint results in
an increase in labor productivity and a decrease in installation complications.
Internal Ground / Easy Installation / Weathertight
These weathertight assembly free expansion joints employ our successful
grounding system using metallic bushing with ground springs to create
a high-integrity ground connection for telescoping conduit.

Applications

Assembly free XJG expansion/deflection couplings
are used with rigid metal, IMC or EMT conduit to:
• couple two sections of conduit subject to
longitudinal movement with a pre-assembled
XJG Fitting
• maintain a ground connection without the need
for an external bonding jumper and clamp
• permit linear movement caused by thermal
expansion and contraction in long conduit runs
• facilitate expansion in both indoor and outdoor
environments
• prevent damage to conduit supports, such as in
a building or on a bridge
• UL Standard: 514 B
