How to get system Info through RS232 User can get cube info by giving a command to cube through RS232, and according to the return command to distinguish different info. For example if the user wants to tell which source is in use now, then type in K 15EA, if the return command shows K 16E9, it means the source is VGA1. A 3 bytes command – works in a fast mode since the scaler doesn't save the information immediately. The sent command is executed immediately, but the status of the scaler is saved in the non-volatile memory only after 30 sec of no activity. 2. A 4 bytes command – the scaler executes the save process immediately after each command. This operation consumes more time (adding about 2 sec). Date: 05/2007 Kramer Electronics 3.
