Job Description Finance Technician Role: Main Duties: A trained and highly competent member of the Finance function, with day to day responsibility for certain departmental tasks. Must comply with customer service standards and the principles of treating customers fairly. Specifically responsible for preparation of: - General daily and monthly spreadsheets. Draft Management and Board reports. Draft Regulatory reports and returns. Monthly prepayments and accruals. Prepare Monthly Accounts Monthly financial forecasting Ensure all treasury is up to date and all payments made on time, with all limits and treasury back office policies adhered to. Other: Ensuring Finance Department records are correctly filed in a timely manner. Testing of Finance related processes and reports. Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by Finance Manager, Senior Finance Technician and/or Finance Director. Must comply with the Society’s policies and procedures at all times. Must complete all necessary training.
