FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR BOARD/ BAR EXAMINEES The Honorable City Mayor Maribel Andaya- Eusebio has approved a new benefit for qualified Pasigueῇos who need to take the Board or Bar Examinations. Under the program, examinees will be entitled to a one-time financial assistance of PESOS: TEN THOUSAND ( PhP 10,000.00) cash. The objective is to lighten the examinees’ financial burdens to enable him / her to focus on the review and enhance his / her chances of passing the examination. Below are the guidelines of the Financial Assistance Program for Board/ Bar Examinees: BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: The applicant must 1. Be a graduate of any Pasig City-based college or university . Former BCE Scholars may be graduates of schools outside of Pasig City. 2. Possess good moral character; 3. Be a bona fide resident of Pasig City for at least 3 years prior to the examination period; and 4. Be a registered voter of Pasig City. For minors, at least one parent must be a registered voter of the city. DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS: The applicant must accomplish the application form and submit the following supporting documents PRIOR to the examination date/s. 1. 2 pieces recent size 2’’ X 2’’ picture; 2. Barangay certification attesting that the applicant is a bona fide resident of the barangay stating the number of years he / she has been residing therein; 3. Photocopy of Transcript of Records; 4. Copy of official certificate of graduation, e.g. diploma, Special Order; 5. Endorsement of the Dean certifying that the applicant will be taking the board / bar examination; 6. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school where the applicant graduated; 7. PRC / SC Notice of Admission (NOA); 8. Comelec ID or Certification of Voting Record of the applicant or of one parent if minor age; and 9. Current year Community Tax Certificate (cedula) APPLICATION PROCEDURE: 1. Download the application form from the city’s official web site www.pasigcity.gov.ph. Or you may obtain a copy of the application form at the BCE Scholarship Program office located at the 2nd Floor, Pasig Business Center, Pasig City Hall Complex. 2. Prepare all the required supporting documents. Only photocopies will be submitted however be prepared to present the original documents for validation, if asked. 3. Submit the application form with the supporting documents to the BCE Scholarship Program Office before the examination date/s. 4. “First come, first serve” basis. Subject to availability of funds from the approved budget allocation for this purpose. 5. Notification regarding the release of the financial assistance will be posted on official FB page bcescholars@gmail.com and on the BCE Scholars bulletin board. RELEASE OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE BENEFICIARIES: 1. Grantee should claim the financial assistance personally at the BCE Scholarship Program Office faithfully observing the schedule of release indicated in the notification. 2.
