The business hours could temporarily change due to unavoidable causes of the Hotel. In such a case, the Guest shall be informed by appropriate means. Article 12 (Payment of Accommodation charges) 1. The breakdown and method of calculation for the accommodation charges and other fees to be paid by the Guest shall be as stated in the Attached table No.1. 2. Accommodation charges and other fees as stated in the preceding paragraph shall be paid in Japanese currency or by any other means, such as traveler’s checks, coupons, or credit cards acceptable to the Hotel at the front desk at the time of departure of the Guest or upon request by the Hotel. 3. The Guest will be asked to pay for the accommodation charges even if the Guest selected voluntarily not to utilize the Guest room provided. Article 13 (Hotel Liabilities) 1. The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for damages if the Hotel has caused such damages to the Guest in the fulfillment or the non-fulfillment Accommodation Contract and/or related agreements. However, the same shall not apply when such damages are caused due to any reasons for which the Hotel is not liable. 2. Even though the Hotel has received the “PASS MARK” by the Fire Department, the Hotel has Hotel Liability Insurance in order to deal with unexpected fire. Article 14 (Handling when unable to provide contracted rooms) 1. When unable to provide contracted rooms, the Hotel shall arrange accommodation of the same standard Hotel elsewhere for the Guest insofar as practicable with the consent of the Guest. 2. When the arrangement of another Hotel cannot be made notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall pay the Guest a compensation fee that is equivalent to the cancellation charges, and the compensation fee shall be applied to the reparations. However, when the Hotel cannot provide contracted rooms because of causes for which the Hotel is not liable, the Hotel shall not compensate the Guest. Article 15 (Handling of Valuable Items) The Hotel shall compensate for the loss or destruction of Guest’s valuable items deposited in room safe only if such loss or destruction is the result of willful or gross negligence by the Hotel. However, if the Guest has not reported the kind or value of the items, the Hotel shall compensate the Guest up to the maximum of 150,000 yen unless it is caused by the Hotel’s gross negligence. Article 16 (custody of Baggage or Belongings of the Guest) 1. When the baggage of the Guest is brought into the Hotel before his/her arrival, the Hotel shall be liable to keep it only in the case when such a request has is accepted by the Hotel and the baggage shall be handed over to the Guest at the Front desk at the time of his/her check-in. 2. When the baggage or belongings of the Guest is found left after his/her checkout and the ownership of the article is confirmed, the Hotel shall inform the owner and ask for further instructions. When any instructions are not given to the Hotel by the owner or when the ownership is not confirmed, the Hotel shall keep the article for one week including the day of its finding, and after this period, the Hotel shall handle it over to the nearest police station. 3. The Hotel’s liability in regard to the custody of the Guest’s baggage and belonging in the preceding two paragraphs shall be assumed in accordance with the provisions of the preceding article. Article 17 (Liability in Regard to Parking) The Hotel shall not be liable for the of the vehicle of the Guest when the Guest utilizes the parking lot within the premises of the Hotel, as it shall be regarded that the Hotel simply offers the space of parking, whether the key of the vehicle has been deposited to the Hotel or not. However, the Hotel shall compensate the Guest for the damage caused through intent or negligence on the part of the Hotel in regard to the management of the parking lot. Article 18 (Liability of the Guest) The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for damages through intent or negligence on the part of the Guest. Basic Accommodation charge is based on the tariff posted at the front desk. 2. The child charge is gotten from 4 to 11 years old. Subtracted 2000 yen from the adult charge when the same treatment is done as adult When the one for children is used, another charge is gotten. 3. Any child who does not need bedclothes and meals is not required to pay the charge. The percentage signifies the rate or cancellation charge to the “Use charge” . 2. When the number of days contracted is shortened, cancellation charge for its first day shall be paid by the Guest regardless of the number of days shortened. 3. When part of a group booked (for 15 person or more) is cancelled, cancellation charge shall not be charged for the number of persons equivalent to 10% of the number of persons booking as of 10 days prior to the occupant.
