HOT STANDBY CONCEPT:
BATT.
NORMALLY THE PRIMARY UPS WILL CARRY THE LOAD.
THE PRIMARY UPS WILL USE POWER FROM MAINS TO
CHARGE THE BATTERY AND TO POWER THE DC LINK.
THE INVERTER WILL DRAW POWER FROM THE DC LINK
AND SUPPLY CLEAN RE-CREATED VOLTAGE TO THE LOAD.
DURING MAINTENANCE OR FAULT, THE PRIMARY UPS's
STATIC SWITCH WILL PROVIDE A NO BREAK TRANSFER OF
THE LOAD TO THE SECONDARY (STANDBY UPS).
THE SECONDARY UPS WILL ONLY CARRY LOAD WHEN
THE PRIMARY UPS IS OFF OR IN BYPASS - HENCE THE TERM
HOT STANDBY.
