MULTI-LUG TYPE SHAFTS FOR BUSINESS FORM PRESSES
(A reduced maintenance alternative to a small button shaft).
Shown above is a lug type air shaft for 6” dia cores that can handle narrow cores.
This is a longer lasting and more economical type of shaft than the typical small button
shaft with its high maintenance costs.
Rewind and unwind shafts for all makes of presses for business forms, label and other
narrow web lines. Also for standard converting machines and slitter rewinds.
This type of lug shaft can be made in many other core diameters including metric, and
all lengths can accommodate narrow slit widths
When thin wall cores are being used for rewind, LEAF TYPE shafts are recommended
to reduce distortion of the core.
