Liebert® Door Switch™
Quick-Start Guide
Determine Installation Location
The Liebert Door Switch monitors for unauthorized access by sending notifications when a door
is opened or when a panel is removed. It can be installed anywhere on the Knurr DCM’s aluminum rails, using only the supplied quarter-turn fastener. Emerson Network Power recommends
these locations:
• Single doors: Top rail on the side with the door latch
• Double doors: Top rail, near the middle, contacting the door that opens first
• Side panels: Top rail, near the center of the side panel
The front of the Liebert Door
Switch extends beyond the
rack rail to contact the door.
Quarter-turn fastener (below)
fixes the Liebert Door Switch
to the Knurr DCM.
Installation
1. Position the Liebert Door Switch on the rail.
2. Insert a quarter-turn fastener through a mounting slot and
turn it clockwise one-quarter of turn.
3. Connect the sensor wire to the Liebert SN (right). See the
Liebert SN quick-start guide, SL-52405, for configuration.
