Laser Engraving Anodized Aluminum
Laser engraving on Anodized Aluminum is a simple
process and can produce excellent results. In this
case, the laser bleaches the color out to reveal the
silver/white finish of the Aluminum.
The engraving process does not produce any smoke
or residue.
ƒ Place the anodized part on the engraving table of the laser. Focus on the top of
the part.
ƒ the laser did not remove all the color the first pass, engrave it again without moving it.
It is hard to have too much power for engraving anodized aluminum but if you do the
results will look a bit fuzzy or slightly out of focus.
ƒ After engraving you can wipe the engraved area with a damp cloth.
