Patrick O’Rourke began his career at a small dental & vision insurance company when he was 19 years old at a
company which, after several acquisitions and mergers, is now MetLife. He is an insurance professional that has
built networks, worked in operations management, designed plans, and opened up new markets. Having a
background in both sales and operations management have proved to be a source of singular insights for
businesses that are growing.
He spent five years at Humana as a Sales Executive in the large group segment (100+ employees). In this role, he
advised on full portfolio of employee benefits which includes fully-insured/self-insured medical, dental, vision, life,
disability, stop-loss, pharmacy, Medicare, and voluntary lines of coverage.
He positioned himself as an industry resource by earning certifications in both Disability (DIA) and Dental (DBA).
The nuances involved with disability insurance, in particular, helped business partners rely on his expertise to guide
client recommendations. His goal is to educate and help determine the best fit for the client every time – no
exceptions.
