FEATURED PRODUCT eConnect® PDUs Click Chatsworth Products' (CPI) eConnect® Power Distribution Units (PDUs) provide the ultimate solution for cabinet level power distribution in evolving enterprise data centers. With innovative capabilities such as Secure Array™ IP Consolidation and the ability to ship preinstalled in CPI cabinets, eConnect PDUs offer the quickest and lowest cost deployment among all intelligent rack PDU solutions in the industry. With high ambient temperature ratings, patent pending Click Secure Locking outlets, solutions that support up to 100 Amps and a high number of C13 and C19 outlets, CPI’s eConnect PDUs are the ideal solution for any high-density environment. eConnect PDUs come in over 300 standard configurations and are available with short lead times and the ability to quickly create customized options. Secure Technology Click Secure Locking Outlets Vertical eConnect PDUs with IEC Outlets are now available with CPI’s patent-pending Click Secure Technology. This feature fastens straight equipment power cords to the PDU without the need for proprietary accessories, allowing you to save on additional accessory costs. Secure Array™ IP Consolidation CPI’s Secure Array IP Consolidation reduces costs and decreases installation time by allowing you to link up to 32 PDUs under a single IP address using standard Ethernet cables. Enjoy features such as outlet grouping, data logging, threshold alarms and PDU cloning. Adding a second IP address provides failover capability, which allows functioning PDUs to continue communicating if a PDU in the array loses connectivity. 149°F High Ambient Temperature Ratings Perfect for installation in high-density application cabinets, all eConnect PDUs are optimized for use in ambient air temperatures up to 149°F (65°C) at the input power rating (kW). In addition, vertical PDUs feature a lowprofile design that does not block airflow. eConnect PDU Product Selector Select the best PDU for your application by narrowing down options based on requirements. PIQ collects and organizes information provided by the eConnect PDUs, logs data, analyzes information, and monitors threshold violations, alerting managers and technicians to trouble before it causes downtime. In addition, PIQ provides remote access to power controls that match eConnect PDU switching and cycling capabilities. PIQ for eConnect features out-ofthe-box support for eConnect PDU’s, as well as compatibility with devices from other top manufacturers. PIQ accepts SNMP v1, 2 and 3 traps, and can easily be deployed as a standalone DCIM monitoring solution for your evolving enterprise data center. Power IQ for eConnect. +/-1% +/-1 kW Monitoring Accuracy Precise kW readings with +/-1% accuracy for exact power measurement is a key benefit for determining precise per customer and per equipment power usage at colocation and high-density facilities. Available on all PDUs with monitoring capabilities. PDU and Branch Phase Monitoring Features continuous monitoring of voltage, current, power and power factor measurements for total PDU usage, as well as each branch phase, allowing you to monitor the total power consumption of each cabinet in your data center. Available on all PDUs with monitoring capabilities. Ease of Installation All vertical PDUs feature simple, tool-less mounting options for on-site installation and all horizontal PDUs include installation hardware. Complimentary preinstallation service is also available with purchase of any PDU and cabinet. Add power. Make it easy. Tailored Power Options Customization capabilities range from terminal block accessible PDUs and specialized input/ output attributes, to custom colorization. Individually Monitored Outlets Monitoring of voltage, power and current down to the outlet level provides visibility into the quantity of power consumption for each piece of IT equipment, enabling chargebacks and allowing you to make concrete steps towards carbon footprint reduction. Individually Switched Outlets eConnect units with switching capabilities enable you to remotely turn on, turn off and recycle power at each outlet, allowing proper provisioning and sequencing for each piece of equipment. Individual outlet switching also minimizes disruptions by enabling the remote recycling of hung up servers. LED lights are included next to each outlet to indicate power status. Available on Switched and Switched-Pro PDUs. 2 UL Listings/Circuit Protection All eConnect models are UL 60950 listed and CE marked. They utilize 100%-rated, slim-profile, hydraulic magnetic breakers to minimize nuisance tripping due to temperature variations and minor overloads. Vertical and Horizontal Options: eConnect PDUs are available in high-density, vertical configurations and rack-mount 2U chassis. The vertical configurations are constructed in a low-profile chassis to minimize 0U space requirements and CPI cabinets include mounting brackets for vertical PDUs. Complimentary preinstallation options are available with both vertical and horizontal eConnect PDUs when purchased with a cabinet. Chatsworth Products eConnect® PDUs Local Features and Display A centrally located Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen displays critical data such as voltage, current, power, power factor, line input and alarm notifications. Initial deployment of the PDUs is made seamless by immediate availability of data via the LCD display for IP setup and load balancing. The LCD’s text rotation feature allows vertical PDUs to be installed with input cords at the top or bottom of cabinets or on either side when using horizontal PDUs. USB port for firmware imports. Serial ports for linking up to 32 PDUs into CPI's Secure Array. Once connected, all PDUs within the Secure Array are automatically discovered by the Primary unit. Network connection on Monitored and Switched models can be accessed remotely to monitor and control power usage using a web browser. Temperature and humidity monitoring ports for use with optional environmental probes. When in use, temperature and humidity settings are displayed on the LCD screen.
