DESCRIPTION:
The MSK 114RH is a radiation hardened quad operational amplifier for use in space and severe military applications. This device offers low offset voltage, low drift, low offset current and high gain combined with a space efficient 14 pin surface mount flat pack. The MSK 114RH is an ideal solution when multiple precision amplifiers are required and board space is at a premium. The MSK 114RH 14 pin ceramic flat pack is offered with straight leads or gull wing for surface mount applications.

APPLICATION NOTES
SINGLE SUPPLY OPERATION
The MSK 114RH may be used in single supply applications where the negative supply is 0 volts. The device incorporates unique phase reversal protection circuitry to avoid the most common problems occurring during single supply operation. The phase reversal protection circuitry, however does not function when one specific amplifier of the other three is driven hard into negative saturation at the output. Phase reversal protection does not work under the following conditions: Amplifier A and D when the opposite output is negative saturation. Amplifiers B and C outputs have no effect. Amplifier B or C when the opposite output is in negative saturation. Amplifiers
A and D outputs have no effect. The MSK 114RH all-NPN output stage maintains it's low output resistance and high gain characteristics until the output is saturated. In dual supply applications, the output stage will remain crossover distoration-free. The minimum single supply voltage for proper operation of the MSK 114RH is +5
Volts.
TOTAL DOSE RADIATION TEST
PERFORMANCE
Radiation performance curves for TID testing will be generated for all radiation testing performed by MS Kennedy. These curves show performance trends throughout the TID test process and will be located in the MSK 114RH radiation test report. The complete radiation test report will be available in the RAD HARD PRODUCTS section on the MSK website.
