Behavioural Learning Theories:
is a learning theory that only focuses on
objectively observable behaviors and discounts any independent activities of the
mind. Behavior theorists define learning as nothing more than the acquisition of
new behavior based on environmental conditions.
Cognitive learning theory: is a learning theory of psychology that attempts to
explain human behavior by understanding the thought processes. The assumption
is that humans are logical beings that make the choices that make the most sense
to them
Constructivist learning theories: is based on students' active participation in
problem solving and critical thinking regarding a learning activity which they find
relevant and engaging. They are "constructing" their own knowledge by testing
ideas and approaches based on their prior knowledge and experience.
