Reading Logs are now available online to save paper. Please print out from the website if you chose to have your child read a book rather than use a reading website.
Help Wanted:
We are in need of clear sheet protectors to help us practice our daily fluency facts in Math.
Field Trip:
Please have your child wear a rocket gear Tshirt, gray, or blue shirt to easily identify them as part of our group. If you are a chaperone, can you please do the same?

What we are working on:
Math: I can represent and recognize numbers on a ten frame.
Reading: I can confirm predictions about what will happen in a text.
Social Studies: I can compare and contrast the past and the present.
Science: I am learning the Engineering
Design Process and I can explain how light and sound works. I will be creating a model to help a hiking group lost in the woods communicate for help.
Writing: I can write a complete sentence using proper spacing, punctuation, and grammar. In my writing I am spelling learned sight words correctly. I can recall information from provided sources about the topic I am writing.
Emails
I have been emailing parents with classroom/school reminders. Please let me know if you have not received any so we can check the email address. The best way is to email me so I can easily add you to the parent group.
