Passage 2C: Neolithic Revolution
The Neolithic Revolution was a period of time when human societies went hunting and
gathering to having an agricultural base. this revolution occurred between 8,000 and 12,000
years ago.
It began in the Fertile Crescent which is near the present-day country of iraq.
Many changes in how humans lived were brought about during this time period. One
development that during the neolithic Revolution involved the complexity of tools Humans went
from using primitive tules made of wood to creating tools made of stone, bronze, and other
metals. Some of these knew tools included the shovel, pick spear, and axe. These new were
much more useful, stronger, and lasted longer. some other changes that occurred during this
time included baking bred, more complex social structures, and labor organization.
The first permanent dwelling was during this time as well as some of the first
crops. These crops included barley, lentils, and weet. the concept of food storage was first
introduced. Trade,barter systems, and currencies were established The ability to plant crops,
create permanent dwellings, and tame amminalls allowed humans to in one place and create
farming villages, which often developed into the first small cities
