Hello! I’m Mrs. Assadi, one of the reading
specialists. I’m very excited about returning to
Hutchinson Farm for my 8th year and look forward to
working with all of our wonderful readers! I enjoy
teaching reading and watching students fall in love with
books! Prior to coming to Hutchinson Farm, I worked as a
reading specialist, Title 1 teacher, and as a 2nd and 4th
grade teacher in both Loudoun and Arlington Counties. I
received both my Bachelors of Elementary Education and
Masters of Curriculum and Instruction with a
specialization in reading from George Mason University.
I’m excited to begin my 22nd year of teaching and
look forward to helping all students reach their reading
potential!
Outside of school I am cheer mom to my youngest
daughter and enjoy watching lots of skateboarding with
my son. In addition, I like going to football games and
playing fantasy football with my husband and visiting my
oldest daughter at James Madison University….Go Dukes!
